This page describes what the site does. It is short because the site does very little.
What the pages load
Every page of this almanac is a static file. It loads one stylesheet and its own images from this same domain, and nothing else. There is no advertising network, no analytics script, no social widget, no embedded video, no comment system and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The typefaces are the ones already on your device; no font is fetched from anywhere.
What is stored in your browser
Nothing. The site sets no cookie of its own and writes nothing to local storage. Your browser will cache the stylesheet and the images, as it does for any site, and that cache is yours. Clear it and nothing of your visit remains on your side, because nothing was ever created on ours.
Server logs
The pages are served by a hosting provider, and hosting providers keep technical request logs. The desk does not run analytics on top of them, does not export them and does not build a profile of a reader from them. How long the provider keeps its own logs is the provider's rule, not a rule of this site.
If you write to the desk
An email sent to the address on the write page is read by the desk and kept only while it is useful for answering it or for recording a correction in the logbook. It is not added to any list, because there is no list: this site has no newsletter and sends nothing. It is not passed to anyone.
If something here is wrong
Say so at the same address. A privacy note that nobody can question is not worth much, and the correction rules set out by the desk apply to this page like any other: a wrong line is corrected on the page, and the correction is dated in the logbook.
